Animal farm in Nairobi!

It was the kind of situation in which a pussy cat might have wanted to devour another pussycat, and doing what is genuinely good for oneself has not been understood, as the entire herd is yet to comprehend the concept of doing better for themselves is by co-operating with each other and not by selfishly refusing to co- ordinate and cooperate with one another. There is understandably a lot of violence in the Animal kingdom, and most animals must continually be watchful lest they be preyed upon & eaten ,and as a direct result of that a large number of young animals never make to adulthood. Life in the human race is anticipated to be different, but in contrast, does the behavior of the Somali resemble & closely associated to that of the wild kingdom as opposed to that of the human race.

Most animals act according to instinct, as the humans on the other hand are inhibited and restrained by laws, rules, regulations and by intellect and reason, but, would it not be save to assume that the behavior of our society is not closely connected to the latter, as our similarities with the modern mankind are narrowing, where as that with the wild kingdom widens & shamefully accumulates. A new research is said to confirm that animals can think, feel sorrow and even fool each other. One of the major differences that separated animals from the humans was that animals can not think but, the humans can, Well, it is a matter of opinion as it relates to societies, such as ours, for the sake argument, let us face the facts, put the cards on the table and genuinely ask ourselves, why on heavenly earth are we constantly & deliberately fooled, used & abused by the very few in the animal farm in Nairobi, who just few days ago were shamelessly at each others throat, wrestling, biting, strangling and drawing blood, as bone fide animals always do.

Not too long ago, i read a story about a 14 year old Chimpanzee, that had been taught to read, it is said to have assembled an English vocabulary of 250 words, but had an understanding of 3,000 more, and it is also said that the chimpanzee understood the concepts of loss and regret, the past & the future, truth & falsehood, this chimp was, in short, more intelligent and coherent than those pussycats in the Nairobi animal farm, and those of us who are not eager to help shape the future of our stolen Somalia.

Lastly and not the east, i like to pick a bone with Mr. Ali ghedi, whom I initially believed was the right person for the right job and for the right time, i honestly believed that he, and he alone is in a unique and a favorable day in age to solicit and gain, the trust of the people and the confidence of the parliament for hire, but, i never in a million years would have thought, that the esteemed academic will be the first to resort to a dictatorial maneuver with such a vulgarity ,and would in so many words refute the the no-confidence vote and refuse to recognize the fact that the parliament, however week and adulterated is nevertheless the legislative organ of the government with the sole authority to sack or disband, not only the the Prime Minister and his Ministers, but the same could be said about the President, if so is desired by a majority of the parliament, as stipulated in the interim charter, and a law broken and violated by those at the helm would surely not be respected & uphold by others.

Today's Somalia faces more challenges than ever before in it's history, and all great challenges have required charismatic and effective leaders to confront the challenges ahead, and if the leadership qualities of those in the animal farm in Nairobi were evaluated by a modern businesses, none would be called for an interview. We often make the same mistakes over & over again, as we miss the big picture and add up details that do not equal the total.
